What is "Safe"?
The criteria for safety varies from user to user, we aim to include a filter option that allows the user to select their preferred safety criteria

Key Findings
01
Emergency Services
The original prototype only had the option for calling 911. We received a few comments requesting alternative options such as sharing location or calling a friend for less severe occasions.
02
Tone for the filter key words
The suggested filters when entering the destination had a pessimistic tone. We changes these phrases to be more desired options. This meant removing phrases like crime.
03
Highlighting route features
We also received feedback that the suggested & safest route was not clear. We made changes to ensure the important information doesn't get lost
